Awesome show last night! And how I wish I could return next week, but I live in Pittsburgh and was here for a week vacation. I'll catch ya again on my next trip. In the meantime I'll have to watch each week online and follow your tweets!

Hello! I wanted to let you guys know that it took my husband FOUR HOURS to get home tonight from his office Brentwood to our subdivision in Fairview. He was exhausted and starving but said that your Music City Roots program kept him sane on the long drive home, and he so greatly enjoyed it! So thank you for providing that entertainment during a horrible drive home!
Hope you all are safe!

My husband and I went to the Barn last night to see MCR. WOW! What a show! This is the 3rd time we have been. You have done it again - that magic touch. I think It's really cool that Lightening 100 ( my favorite station) is sponsoring it now. They will reach a much broader audience. I emailed a friend of mine in VA this morning and he watched the feed via website. He was very impressed.

WOW.

Absolutely fabulous show. It was like 10 shows all together, a night at the Bluebird, the Station Inn, a blues show at 3rd & Lindsley, some good ol' Opry style country.Amazing.

Talk to you guys soon. We'll give your regards to Broadway.

We ALL had a wonderful time. Those who had not been to The Barn before were very impressed by the entire venue and show atmosphere. Yes, my father got his poster...so sweet of you to leave it for him with the personal note. The tables were set up perfect. Everything was perfect and my father had a special 75th birthday that we all will remember. We will be back soon. Thanks to all who made our night special.

It was so special being at Roots last night. It felt so magical…it was like being in a movie or something...like I felt like I had gone into a time warp or something. It was so cool.

It was so important and special to have someone there from Japan. And to hear John Walker talk about it made my heart feel good…for everyone on this mission to link all of our own worlds and cultures through music.

Blessings,

Thanks so much for the great hospitality last night. I can't imagine a better 50th birthday celebration. They say we create our own reality and I firmly believe that last night was one of those scripted scenes. I will always remember it. What you are doing at Music City Roots takes me way back to lower Broad - Ernest Tubb's Record Shop, Tootsies or the 60's Opry backstage. There was this vibe that has long since gone. But I felt it last night at the Loveless Barn. You have figured out a way to get that genie out of the bottle and I just wanted to stay there all night and feel that again…and I did.backstage. Nashville Scene "Letters to the Editor" – Digging those 'Roots'
Attending Music City Roots during a recent stay in Nashville was one of the best times my family has ever had together ("Our Critics' Picks," Dec. 31). John Cowan and 18 South were amazing to see and hear. I live in Nashville part time and have been to many music venues there over the past 25 years, and Music City Roots is the coolest event I've seen in a long time. Can't beat the price either! Great place, great people, great music! Hope this event will continue for years to come! -- Janis Pruitt, Pensacola, Florida
