"...FANS OF ANYONE FROM DYLAN to WILCO will find plenty to like about DADDY."   News4U

Sounding like The Faces with two Ron Woods backed by echoes of Los Lobos and The Band's reverence for all American music, DADDY (Will Kimbrough & Tommy Womack) is currently performing in support of their recently released first studio album - FOR A SECOND TIME. DADDY has been hailed by critics and fans alike for their incendiary live performances and recordings that embrace juke-joint blues, swampy-groove country and a lot of rock and roll, with stops in gospel and beat-poet territory.

The full, original DADDY line-up as heard on their new "For A Second Time" album features Alt.Country/Americana All-Stars Will Kimbrough & Tommy Womack with John Deaderick, Paul Griffith and Dave Jacques. The DADDY duo completed their debut European tour in early June and will be performing in the US with the full band in support of Father's Day.

Alabama homeboy Will Kimbrough (2004 Americana Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year & 2010 Nominee for the same award!) and Kentucky-bred Tommy Womack (Two-time winner of the Nashville Scene Best Song Award & published author) first came together in 1992 in the bis-quits, who made one impressive guitar-fest record for John Prine¹s Oh-Boy! label. They discovered a musical and personal kinship that has continued to grow over the years and individual careers - which is now DADDY.

"DADDY is Americana at its roots-rockingest best - honest music that makes its case with equal parts chops and smiles." - Billy Altman, Los Angeles Daily News

"The musical approach is rustic, recalling hints of Dylan, the Band, Clapton, the Allman Brothers, and Little Feat. Give this DADDY the respect it deserves." - New Times

"...[DADDY] are one, if not THE, FINEST ROCK N' ROLL BANDS around." - Maverick (UK) Magazine

FOR A SECOND TIME - #1 on the Euro-Americana Music Chart, August 2009!

"For A Second Time' may well be THE BEST COLLECTION OF PURE MUSIC-MAKING THAT YOU'LL HEAR OUT OF NASHVILLE THIS YEAR." - Rev. Keith A. Gordon, Blurt!

"...They meet through their humor as lyricists and their shared love of GOOD OLD-FASHIONED SWAMP-BRED GUITAR RIFFS, and as amply evidenced throughout this album, the result is AN INFECTIOUSLY GOOD TIME for all concerned." - BluegrassSpecial.com
